The main thing you can do with Flash Manager is play Flash files – SWF and FLV files. Load a Flash video and the application will play it; create a playlist, add as many videos as you want to that playlist, and the application will play all those videos. On top of that, Flash Manager has some extra functionality to offer: pack Flash files into executables, make screensavers, take screenshots, look for Flash content within your computer’s temporary internet files, scan drives for Flash content, download Flash files.

Download a 1MB archive, extract and run the executable inside, and you will be presented with a setup wizard; this wizard will guide you through the Flash Manager installation process. Just a few moments later you will be done with the installation. There is nothing complicated about it.

There’s nothing complicated about the application’s interface either. The pane to the left plays the Flash file you loaded. The pane to the right allows you to select a playlist, add items to a selected playlist, and remove items from a playlist. Down at the bottom you have the playback and volume controls. Thanks to this simple layout, you will spend very little time on figuring the interface out.

Flash Manager will play the Flash SWF and FLV files you manually load into the application. Alternatively, you can let the application scan your drives and scan your temporary internet files and locate Flash content. Flash Manager also allows you to create playlists and add any Flash files you want to those playlists.

On top of the Flash files playback functionality, Flash Manager comes with a handy set of extra tools: Single Flash File Packager (to .exe), Flash Gallery Maker (to .exe), Flash Files Downloader, Taking a Screenshot, and Screen Saver Maker (to .scr).

Flash Manager is a free application.

Play Flash Files, create playlists, download Flash content, pack Flash files as executables, all these things and more can be done quite easily with Flash Manager.

Pros

The Flash Manager installation process goes along smoothly and rapidly. The Flash Manager interface is quite easy to figure out. Use Flash Manager to play Flash files, download Flash files, find Flash files, pack Flash files as executables, and more. Flash Manager is free.

Cons

None that I could think of.
